Nelyne G. TarbetCharlottesville - Nelyne Gilbert Tarbet, 79, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was born on December 18, 1934 in Fairview, Idaho to Hazen and Naomi Forsgren Gilbert. She married Willard J. Tarbet on July 23, 1953 in the Logan LDS Temple. Nelyne loved to garden and always had a garden to be proud of. She loved bird watching and enjoyed seeing a variety of birds wherever she lived. She enjoyed crocheting and painting with Tri-chem. She lived her life to help her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children Bryan (Tara) Tarbet, of Highland, Utah; Craig (Cindy) Tarbet, of Eagle Mountain, Utah; Ken Tarbet of Clearfield, Utah; Deborah (Blake) Jarmin, of Grass Valley, Calif; and Tammy (Scott) Winterton of Charlottesville, Va.; Lynne (Tom) Rath, Grass Valley, Calif.; Becky (Wesley) Keetch, Spring, Texas. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and siblings Dallas (Joyce) Gilbert, of Fairview, Idaho; Delma Mitchell, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Merlene Cutler, of Pocatello, Idaho; a sister Garnet, of Brigham City, Utah; Claris Giles of Ogden, Utah; and Geraldine Gunderson, of Henderson, Nev. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willard, and a sister Nada Pfleger. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Providence LDS Chapel at 465 N. 300 East in Providence with Bishop Fronk conducting. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home in Preston, Idaho.
