Nancy L. DufaultAge: 73 • ColchesterNancy L Dufault, 73, of Colchester passed away at the UVM medical center on Thursday, August 10th, following a long illness, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on March 22, 1944 in Hyde Park Vermont, the daughter of Maurice Goodell and Eliza Foster Goodell. She was a graduate of Burlington High School, class of 1962. On May 25, 1963, she was married in The Cathedral Church in Burlington, Vermont to Willy Dufault. For many years she helped and supported her husband with their businesses Willy's Vending Service and Willy D's furniture.Her hobbies were going to bingo, bus trips to Foxwoods casino to play the slots, scratch tickets, going to garage sales, going for rides with her husband, playing rummy with her niece, getting cuddles from the family's dog, listening to country music, and watching the western channel.She is survived by her husband of 54 years Willy, her daughter Michelle, beloved dog KC, and sister-in-law Evelyn Hathaway. Her nieces and nephews, Robert & Angie Colaceci, Jim Colaceci, Lorrie Cruz, Johnny Colaceci, Shelly Murray, Penny Murray, Chris & Lauren Toris, Michael Toris and Kathy & Kevin Rowe as well as many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was predeceased by her mother Eliza Goodell, her father Maurice Goodell, her sisters Shirley Young and Betty Colaceci and her husband Robert Colaceci.Her family would also like to give a special thanks to all the nurses on McClure 5, especially Bernie, Amelia, Jessica, Jeff, and Maureen to name a few, and an extra special thank you to Katherine and Jeanne for French braiding Nancy's hair and making her feel pretty with straight hair. We also want to give a special thank you to Lorrie Cruz, Carol Lesage, and Claire Chamberlain for all the help they have given us over the last few months.Calling hours will be held on Monday August 14, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Ready Funeral Home and Cremation Services South Chapel 261 Shelburne Rd.
