Nancy J. CorlGENOA: Nancy J. Corl, age 67, of Genoa, OH, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Regency Hospital, Sylvania, OH. She was born on July 30, 1949 in Fremont, OH to Adam and Doris (Sherman) Corl. Her employments included: United Telephone Company and later delivered papers for the Toledo Blade Company. She was a member of Solomon Lutheran Church, where she volunteered and attended the Church Woman's Circle. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku, bingo and crocheting scarves and afghans. Throughout her life she had many health struggles especially with rheumatoid arthritis; she never complained and had a smile for everyone she met. Nancy was loved by so many people including her friends at the Genoa Care Center and on face book.Nancy is survived by her sister: Juanita Miller of Oregon, OH, nieces: Dawn Brogan of NC, Angela Corl of Bowling Green, OH, nephew: Terry Corl of Millbury, several great nieces and nephews and special care givers: Gus and Pat Miller of Helena, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Bill Corl and nephew Daniel Corl. Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 9-10:30 AM at Solomon Lutheran Church, 305 W. Main Street, Woodville, OH where a memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Kristina Ahlman. Interment will be in Troy Twp. Cemetery, Luckey, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to: Solomon Lutheran Church.
