Nancy Charlotte (Knox) Trombley • JeffersonvilleNancy Charlotte (Knox) Trombley, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born on August 13, 1939 in Hinesburgh, daughter of Walter and Flora Knox. She graduated from Hinesburgh High School. Nancy married Gary Trombley in 1958. She is predeceased by her son, Benjamin who was born on her birthday. Nancy is survived by her sons Thomas of Essex, and Todd and his partner Gina Holmes. She also leaves her brother Walter (Pete) Knox and his wife Shirley of Monkton. Nancy leaves behind her pride and joys, her granddaughters Annabelle and Emily Trombley. Nancy played a key role in making them the wonderful young women they are today. She also leaves behind an adopted grandson, Kyle Lange who she also adored. Nancy leaves many friends and several nieces and nephews. She also loved her pets, who will be taken care of.Nancy worked many years as an L.N.A. at the Green Mountain Nursing Home. Nancy was a fantastic cook and loved to knit and sew for her loved ones. Nancy was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missedSpecial thanks to Gina Holmes who came into Nancy's life at the right time. They are kindred spirits, and made a good life better for our family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to an animal shelter. A private service will be conducted at a later date this summer.
