HINESVILLE - Ms. Myrtice L. Bacon, 90, departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at Coastal Manor Nursing Home in Ludowici.She was born on Jan. 26, 1926, to the late Sam George Sr. and Annie M. Gaulden. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Lee Joseph (Laura) Bacon of Walthourville; raised as a daughter, Maj. Tina LaTisha George (Ricky) Hill of Virginia; one sister, Mamie Lewis of Hinesville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Mt, Zion Missionary Baptist Church.Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1370 Shaw Road, Hinesville.Interment will be in New Home CemeteryDorchester Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
