Mildred Olsen Bosen, 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2014, at her home in Preston, Idaho. She was born on Aug. 1, 1915, in Clifton, Idaho, to Fredrick Daniel and Mary Albertina Kofoed Olsen. She married Curtis Bosen.Mildred was a terrific cook and was known for her pies which won many sweepstakes and ribbons at fair time. She was a very skilled seamstress and made many wedding dresses. Mildred was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was always giving or caring for people and was willing to help anyone. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Bosen of Grace, Idaho and Lyle Bosen of Riverdale, Idaho; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Curtis, a daughter Dorothy Walgren, a son Daniel Curtis Bosen, two brothers and four sisters, and a great-grandson Chase Bosen and a daughter-in-law Tammy Bosen. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, April 5, in the Riverdale 2nd Ward Chapel. A viewing will be from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Riverdale Cemetery.
