Mildred R. Bremer1916 - 2014Mildred R. Bremer, 98, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at Harmony Living Center.She was born on Jan. 3, 1916, to the late Frank and Lena (Schmidt) Kaddatz in Lyons, Wis. She graduated and confirmed at Friedens School.Mildred married Lawrence Slim Bremer on July 6, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1985.Mildred loved baking for local restaurants and baked up until October of 2013. She also enjoyed sharing recipes with her nieces.Mildred was a member of St. Marys Lutheran Church and a member of St. Marys Friendly Center.Mildred is survived by Sandra Lundberg of Dahlonega, Ga., and Barbara Schaffer of Canton, Ga. Also many other nieces and nephews and two special caregivers survive her.Funeral services for Mildred will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
