Michael "Terry" KirtsMichael "Terry" Kirts, 67, of West Point, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 8:53 p.m. at IU Health Arnett Hospital, after a brief battle with Lung Cancer. Terry was born on October 4, 1950 in Crawfordsville to the late Arthur L. and Gladys F. (Cronk) Kirts Boes. He graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1970. Terry first married Susan (Erickson) White, and they later divorced, she survives. He then married Deborah (Ledman) Vyse on September 9, 1992 in Lafayette, and she survives. He worked at Eli Lily in the Purification department, and he loved to go to the casino. Surviving are five children, Candi (husband: Randy) Steenblock of Lafayette, Veronica Kirts of Lafayette, Deborah Payne of Missouri, Tina (husband: Frank) Heathscott of Lafayette, and Carla Getchel of West Point. Also surviving are two siblings, Jerry (wife: Daphne) Manion of Lafayette, and Cheryl (husband: Jeff) Delaney of Lafayette, 13 grandchildren, and 19 great grand-children.He is preceded in death by, one son, Carl Vyse Jr., one sister, Loraine Seabolt, one brother, Ronald Kirts, one niece, Melody Schrader, one nephew, Shane R.
