Michael C. BakerNovember 30, 1942 - June 18, 2013Michael Clyde Baker, 70, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully following a sudden illness on Tuesday, June 18th, 2013 at his home. He was born on November 30, 1942 to Edgar C. and Louisa Mae (Rupp) Baker in Pocatello, Idaho. Michael graduated from Pocatello High School in 1960. He briefly went to college at Idaho State University. He worked for Kraft for over 25 years and then Ore-Ida and Heinz. Michael loved to play music. He played bass in several different bands for years. Among his hobbies, he was an avid golfer, loved to fish and liked the outdoors. He also enjoyed traveling. Michael was preceded in death by his mother Sue Beck and stepfather Bruce Beck. He is survived by his wife, Cheri Baker of Pocatello; children Scott Baker, Todd Baker and Kris Goldsby all of Oregon; as well as eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.As per his wishes, Michael will be cremated under the care and direction of Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave., Pocatello, Idaho (208) 233-0686.
