Maryanne CreamerMARION: Maryanne Creamer, age 70 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her home.Maryanne was born on March 9, 1946 in Findlay, Ohio, the daughter of Leonard and Opal (Trakler) Roof. She worked as a security specialist for the Contemporary Service Corporation for many years.Maryanne grew up in a farming community and showed cattle for many years. She quickly developed a love for animals, and throughout her life volunteered at animal shelters. Her pets were cherished and loved. She was an avid gardener and photographer. Relationships were an essential part of Maryanne's life. She had many dear friends, and was always keeping tabs on her children and grandchildren. She volunteered for many years at the Marion General Hospital, bringing joy to those she served.Maryanne is survived by her children: Robyn (Dennis) Crowningshield and Allan (Marjorie) Grubel-Creamer; grandchildren: Timothy (Kayla), Daniel, Gretchen (Tommy), Phillip (Kelley); great grandchildren: Justin, Serenity, Hunter and Connor; and brother Brad Roof.She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Roof.A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Saturday October 28, 2017 at the Marion Family YMCA, 645 Barks Rd E, from 2PM to 4PM in the conference room.If so desired, donations may be made in Maryanne's honor to the Marion Area Humane Society, or Homeless to Home - Animal Rescue & Cat Sanctuary ( www.gofundme.com/homelesstohome).The Snyder Funeral Homes of Marion are honored to be serving the family and condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.SnyderFuneralHomes.com
