Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, MaryJane Gomez, 63, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016.She was born on Nov. 8, 1952 in Las Vegas to the late Nora Romero and raised by special aunt, Adelina Solano.She was a lifelong Christian and devoted herself to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, crafts, reading and spending time with her family. Employed at NMHU financial aid department, MJ enjoyed her job.She is preceded in death by her mother, Nora Romero; great-aunt, Adelina Solano; brother, Johnny Ray Romero; sister, Sandra Rios; aunt, Lilly Gonzales; uncle, Esequiel Romero; and grandparents, Esequiel and Maria Romero.She is survived by her husband, Steve Gomez; son, Toby Sanchez; daughters, Carla Sanchez and friend, Casey Duran, Nadine Sanchez, Bernice Ulibarri and husband, Peter Ulibarri, step-son, Eric Gomez; step-daughter, Rebecca Padilla and husband, Benny Padilla; grandchildren, Ariel and Adelita Lopez, Anthony, Jordan, and Monique Garcia, Toby Sanchez Jr., Tabitha Garcia, Enriquez Ortiz, Zander Ulibarri, and Shayla and Francisco Padilla; great-grandchildren, Hailey Jaramillo, Eli Vigil, Aubryanna, Elias, and Arianna Baca, Kasey and Ryot Garcia and Ezequiel Garcia; special aunt, Minnie Romero, Alice Romero, and uncle, Joe Romero and wife, Patsy; sisters, Virginia Gonzales, Theresa Martinez; brother, David Romero; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Heart of David Church located at 333 Peggy Lane in Las Vegas.
