Mary E. TaylorZANESVILLE: Mary E. Taylor, 95, of Zanesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in Grove City, Ohio.She was born on May 29, 1918 in Zanesville. She was a lifetime member of Meadow Farm Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, director of the Junior Church, President of WSCS, and was missions woman of the year for the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1992. She volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital for several years. She was an avid gardener, seamstress and quilter.She is survived by four daughters, Marlene (Bruce) Bester, Carol (John) Smith, Elaine (Ed) Liskany, and Leah (Barry) Morsch; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Margaret Neel; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas R. and Kathryn E. Black; her husband, Richard E. Taylor; three brothers and two sisters.Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Meadow Farm Church, 6015 Coopermill Rd., Zanesville where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Doris Flynn and Rev. Paul Ashbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Black-Wilkins Memorial Trust Fund or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
