Mary Ann PegramMarch 27, 1936 - June 25, 2015Mary Ann Pegram, 79, of Homedale, passed away Thursday, June 25th, 2015 at her home of natural causes.Mary Ann was born on March 27, 1936 and was the daughter of Thomas Franklin Johnston and Dorothy Mae Grammer.She graduated High School in Marsing. She married Elmo James Pegram Feb. 27, 1960Mary Ann was raised on a ranch in Reynolds Creek, it was there that she found her passion for horses. She loved riding with her father. She loved when they had brandings and family gathering surrounded by her Aunts, Uncles and many cousins.Mary Ann retired from working part time at the Homedale public library earning an award for Honorary Public Assistant.Her favorite hobbies include bowling, fishing and watching ropings at the Badiola arena. She was a member of Homedale Presbyterian Church.She is survived by her son, Tom (Diane) Pegram and daughter, Pamela, grandchildren, Jessika Qualls, Keley Hisey-Pegram and Jordan Pegram, and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Dorothy Johnston, her husband, Elmo and her brother Dick.A viewing will be held Monday, June 29, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at The Presbyterian Church, Homedale. Interment will follow at the Marsing-Homedale Cemetery, Marsing.
