Mary M. McNutt, age 88, of Jenks St., Brookville, former life-long resident of Sigel, PA, passed away at her home on Monday July 20, 2015. She was born on December 8, 1926, in Brookville, to Vincent and Anna (Lucas) McBride, both precede her in death. She was married on July 22, 1945, in Brookville, PA, to Donald M. McNutt Sr., who also precedes her in death on November 21, 1979. She had worked for Maplevale Farm, Deposit Bank, Director of the Red Cross, Judge of Election, and McNutt Paint and Decorating. She enjoyed her entire family, baking, and card ministry. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church where she served on several committees; was a Sunday school teacher for many years; and was also a youth leader. She is survived by four sons; Don McNutt Jr., (Patty) of Baxter; Jim McNutt (Christy) of Sigel; Joe McNutt (Melora) of Brookville; Ted McNutt of Brookville; one daughter, Cathy Raybuck (Laird) of Sigel; one brother, Raymond McBride of Baxter; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. In addition to her husband and parents, her brother Vincent McBride precedes her in death.Family and friends will be received on Thursday July 23, 2015, from 8 a.m. – 1p.m., at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 30 White St. Brookville. A funeral service will immediately begin at 1 p.m. in the same location officiated by the Rev. Chuck Jack, the Rev. Jared Peterman, and the Rev. John Milliron. Interment to take place at St. Johns Cemetery (Windy Hill) in Rose Twp., Jefferson Co. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 30 White St. Brookville, PA 15825.
