Mary L. Curry, 76 Beloved wife, mother, sister. Mary L Curry, known to friends and family as Vicki, died Sunday, November 6, 2016, as a result of massive heart failure. Vicki was a resident of Alamogordo for 40 years, arriving here in 1976, when her military husband was assigned to Holloman Air Force Base. Vicki is survived by her husband, Tom, son Tom lII, daughter Pam Tyrrell and husband Tim, of Elephant Butte, New Mexico, daughter Lisa Feldbusch and husband Russ of Dog Canyon, Alamogordo, New Mexico, sister Mona Johns and husband Darryll of Tucson, Arizona, sister Vivian Wright of San Diego, California, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Vicki was born on July 9, 1940 in Boulder, Colorado, to parents, Glenn Raymond Forrest and Grace Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Sheila, her son David, her brother Ray and grandson Kevin. Vicki married her husband of 57 years, Tom, on March 20, 1959 in Tucson Arizona. She was primarily a homemaker but worked for a time at the Presto factory in Alamogordo. Vicki was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1649 in Alamogordo and enjoyed many lodge activities, including dinners, dancing and games. She also enjoyed trying her luck at area casinos. Cremation has taken place at PCS and private services are scheduled for a later date.
