Mrs. Mary Helen Shelton was the 8th child born on January 5, 1935 to the late Sam Whitt and  Mrs. Cassie Nesby Whitt in Decatur, Georgia. Her life was filled with love and laugher. She departed this life on June 8, 2019 in Decatur, Ga. She leave to cherish 2 sons John Shelton (Tyannia), Carl, and 2 daughters Operine Whitt and Debbie Corbin-Barnes. Grandchildren Vashan, Monique, Ashlee, Marcus, Johntavious, Jason, Aaron, Journey and Jaden. She was a loving mother and housewife to the late Johnny Shelton for over 35 years upon her passing. She resigned at Marian Road Highrise for over 20 eyars. She loved God and her family. She loved to tell jokes and enjoyed life to its fullest.
