LAURINBURG — Mrs. Mary Dunn Huckabee of Laurinburg passed away at the age of 104 on July 29, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday at Northview Harvest Ministries officiated by Pastor Kenneth Blease with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park.

Mary was born on July 16, 1910 in Scotland County, a daughter of the late Fairley and Adora Chavis Dunn. She was the loving and devoted wife to the late William Huckabee. She was a homemaker and worked in textiles retiring after many years of service. She served as the oldest congregational member of Northview Harvest Ministries. Mrs. Huckabee was a delightful lady that dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family. She enjoyed reading and especially traveling with her family.

She was also preceded in death by her son Ronald Huckabee, daughter-in-law Sue Huckabee, grandson Joseph Davi, and all of her siblings: Brooks Dunn, Graddy Dunn, Lonzie Dunn, Eula Bennett, Flora Hair, Mamie Hair, and Annie Tyndall.

Surviving are her children Glenda H. Davi and husband Salvatore of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and William "Buster" Huckabee and wife Karen of Laurel Hill, nine grandchildren: Sophia Mineri, Little Sal Davi, Denise Huckabee, Tommy Huckabee, Steven Huckabee, Angela Taylor and husband Randy, Belinda English and husband Chris, Buffy Tompkins and husband Doug, and Darren Locklear, 23 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, very special friend Janet Hunt, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
