Mary L. Correa1937 - 2013Mary Pony Tail Correa, 75, of Trevor passed away peacefully on Monday July 1, 2013, at Hospitality Manor in Kenosha surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on Oct. 9, 1937, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Louieand Felice (Springgob) Altschwager. She was educated in the schools of Milwaukee. She was married to Sherburn Arndt, they later divorced, she later married, David Correa on March 6, 1974, in Waukegan. She was employed at Stiles Farm and as a school bus aid for Laidlaw School Bus Co., helping handicapped children until she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. Her hobbies included spending time with her family and friends. She loved raising her girls who each, in their own way, made her very proud of them. Survivors include her children, Debbie (Roger) LeMay, Kathy (Jerry) Chapman, Pamela (Steven) Shackelton, Margaret (Larry) Frick, Angela (Jason) Green; brother, Louie (Carol) Altschwager; sister, Carol (Ed) Hornick; seven grandchildren, John, Chris, Jimmy, Ryan, Cef, Mike, Justina, and Cameron; and eight great grandchildren, Ethan, Haley, Jessica, Josh, Jacob, Jordan, Jayden and Maya. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Correa; a brother, Bobbie Altschwager; a sister, Jean Kasten, and a great grandson, Jared LeMay in 2010. A visitation will be held on Friday July 5, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 9:30-11:30 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial Union Cemetery, Salem, WI.
