Mary Charles "Charlie" Heady Hawthorne, 89, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in Blackstone, Virginia.She was born on September 2, 1926 in Larue County, Kentucky She was preceded in death by her parents, Terrill and Elma Allen Heady; her first husband, Leonard Pepper and her second husband, Bennett (Ben) Hawthorne Sr.She is survived by one brother, Bobby Heady; one nephew, Jeff Heady (Cindy); two nieces, Debbie Dickerson (Donnie) and Karen Singleton (Stuart), all of Larue County and one stepson, B. Warren Hawthorne, Jr. (Kathy) of Lebanon. Also surviving are three stepdaughters, eight step-grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2 at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Chapel with interment in the cemetery. Services will be officiated by Reverend Robert Howell of the Hodgenville Methodist Church in Hodgenville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2 from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the cemetery. Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of funeral arrangements.
