Heron, Mary AnnMary Ann Heron of Ridgefield, CT passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at St Mary's Vitas Center at the age of 82. She was born on August 5, 1934 to the late John and Sadie Bartosinski. She is survived by her loving husband Wilferd J Heron of Ridgefield, CT; a sister Theresa Flaws and her husband James of Balston Spa, NY; a son Christopher Heron and his wife Deborah of Redding, CT; a daughter Carol Stewart of Southbury, CT; her grandchildren Deanna Tart and her husband Keen of Lisbon, CT, Russell Stewart Jr and his wife Lindsay of Brooklyn, NY, CJ Heron, Erica Heron and Brooke Heron of Redding, CT; and by her great-grandchildren Amelia Tart, Eva and Jordyn Stewart and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter Sophie Leigh Tart.She worked for the City of Stamford, Town Clerk's Office for 10 years before retiring in 1996. She enjoyed going to Mohegan Sun Casino with her husband and friends and traveling with her husband.MaryAnn will be sadly missed by all those who knew her and loved her, and her fond memory will live on in their hearts forever.Family will received relatives and friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30th at the Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue in Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 1st at St. Maurice Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, in Stamford, CT.
