Post, MarvinMarvin "Snibly" Dale Joseph Post, 81, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, May 22, 2017, at home.He was born on July 18, 1935, in Lomira, a son of Joseph and Margaret Manske Post.Marvin served with the United States Army from 1956-1959.On June 27, 1965, he married Barbara J. Nitschke at Presentation Church, North Fond du Lac.Marvin was employed with Damrow Company for 20 years. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #270 for over 45 years and was a member of the Anglers. He was a member of the Wings Over Wisconsin, Eden Chapter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gambling, and camping.He is survived by his wife, Barbara; four children: Dale (Melody) Post of Oshkosh, Karen Schwind of Fond du Lac, David Post of Fond du Lac, and Nicole (Chadwick) Peterson of Fond du Lac; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and seven brothers and sisters: Madine Dalton, MaryAnn Stauber, Marilyn Post, Melvin Post, Marsha Julka, and Gerald Post.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Mark and Merlin; and one sister, Milene.VISITATION: The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at the Eagles Club, 515 North Park Avenue, Fond du Lac.SERVICE: A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Eagles Club.Cremation has taken place.Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory is serving the family, www.kurkimachfuneralchapel.com. 920-921-4420Memorials appreciated to Eagles Anglers or Wings Over Wisconsin, Eden Chapter.
