MARVIN MULLETT

LIMA — Marvin Lee Mullett, 69, died on Monday, December 12, 2016, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.

Marvin was born on December 9, 1947 to the late Willard Mullett and Delma (Combs) Mullett. On October 4, 1969, he married Diane (Frueh) Mullett, she survives in Lima.

He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the Carpenters Local 372. He enjoyed classic Mopar muscle cars, drag racing, NHRA and was a huge Browns fan. He loved spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by two daughters, Teresa (E.C.) Miller, Angela Layton, and a son, Jayson Mullett; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Mullett, Katelyn Mullett and Henry Miller; two brothers, Steve (Sandy) Stratton and Dennis (Joyce) Mullett, a sister, Karen (Larry) Alguire.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Mullett.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 12:00PM on Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. John Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio. Father David M. Ross will officiate.

Interment will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger, Ohio.
