XENIA Marvin Earl Johnson, age 75, of Xenia, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his home under Hospice Care. Marvin was born on December 25, 1937 in Xenia, OH to the late John Dudley & Ennettie Catherine (Saylor) Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Phyllis and brother John. Marvin was a life-long carpenter and gunsmith. He retired from Greene Memorial Hospital after 12 years. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, shooting and spending time with his family. He was an excellent craftsman. Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Donna Jean (Cline) Johnson; along with his three children: Terrie (& Jack) Lambert of Jamestown; Marsha (& Randy) Schroeder of China Spring, TX; and M. Patrick (& Angel) Johnson of Tipp City, OH. He is also survived by his four step-children: Kim Watkins, Erica Ford, Joey Johnson and Rachelle Porter; 15 Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Grandchildren, and his trusted dog Sadie. Marvin was passionate about mentoring and shared his talents and skills unselfishly with family, friends, and young craftsman. A Visitation will be held 4-7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 also at the Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Kimpel officiating. Interment in Bellbrook Cemetery.
