Marlene Neal of Port Angeles passed away at the age of 79 from natural causes. Marlene was born on December 24, 1936, in Wisconsin. Marlene was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Women's Auxiliary. In her 28 years with the Eagles, she held the offices of president, vice president and chaplain, and also helped in the kitchen. Marlene is survived by her sons, Michael Moore of Forks, Bryan Moore of Port Angeles and Mark Moore of Port Angeles; her daughters Virginia (David) Rains of Gig Harbor, Washington, and Rebecca King of Port Angeles; and her sister, Debra (Gary) Johnson of Beaver. Marlene was preceded in death by her daughter Cheryl Lynn Moore and her brothers, Thomas and Arden Prissel. There will be a private family burial at Ocean View Cemetery in Port Angeles. A celebration of life will take place at the Eagles Lodge, 2843 East Myrtle Street, Port Angeles, on Saturday, December 26, 2016, at 2 p.m.
