Meyer, Mark M. (1952-2017)Mark M. Meyer, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Plymouth on Thursday, April 6, 2017.Mark was born on April 22, 1952 in Sheboygan Wisconsin, the son of Victor and Alice. He graduated from Sheboygan North High and the Milwaukee Area Technical College. Mark married Wendy Grande, and loved her so much, he married her twice. He spent many years as a troubleshooting service tech for Hayssen Industries. With customers all over the United States he was lucky to make it home for a weekend. A packed suitcase would be waiting for him at the door Monday morning. He'd drive to the airport, call in to the office, and ask 'where to?'. Job done, he'd return to the airport with the same question, 'where to?'.' So it's no wonder that when he had the opportunity, he came home, determined to walk his own path and never leave again. His home on the Mullet River, his family, Wendy and his son Travis, and eventually Trav's wife and kids, was all the world he'd ever need. Mark was intelligent, inventive with an intense thirst for knowledge. There was no such thing as small talk with Mark. Conversations with him ranged from nature to politics; stereos to renewable energy; computers to cars. He had a quick, dry wit that livened up family gatherings. But there was also a softer, nurturing side to him that was especially noticeable when he was around children. If there was a baby in the room, it was in his arms. Mark came from a big family. He had three brothers and three sisters all well blended together by their Mom and Dad. Mark will be remembered, and terribly missed, by those who knew him best, by: His wife Wendy, son Travis, Trav's wife Danielle, his grandson Taylor, and granddaughters Jade and Jenna. 'Sibs' and their spouses/significant others: Darleen and Bob Flores; Ellie Murtray, Tom and Patsy, Faith and Bob Tennyson; Steve and Kathy and Scott and Tryna. Nephews and nieces by the legion (including great and great-great): the Murray boys and the Oddo's.. and not a few Meyers. Wendy's family, Michele (John) Schermetzler, Jeff (Shari) Grande, Tim Grande and Lori (Mike) Wills. Your time came too soon Mark. There were stories left to tell and to live... miss you already.Cremation has taken place and private services have been held by the family. The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family.
