Marion A. (Loyzelle) HarrisonAge: 91 • RutlandMarion A (Loyzelle) Harrison of Rutland passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born on March 26, 1925, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Blanchard) Loyzelle of Rutland. She was a 1943 graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy. In earlier years she worked at Vermont Electric Products and then CVPS. She married Robert Harrison on June 11, 1949 at St. Peters Church. They shared 65 years together before he died in 2012.Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Massari and her husband Wayne of Rutland and Jo-Anne Conant and her husband Kim of Williston, three grandchildren, Brianna Massari, Chelsea Rossi and husband Ernie, Sam Conant, his wife Christina and son Jarett (a step great-grandchild). She also leaves a Sister-in-law Delores Harrison as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband and a brother Joseph Loyzelle.Marion had a zest for life and made friends wherever she went. For numerous years she worked as the cashier at Mount Saint Joseph Academy Hot Lunch Program, the many students she saw every day still remember her today. She was a courier volunteer at Rutland Regional Medical Center for over 15 years, a position she was very proud of. She made many lasting friendships which endure today. She enjoyed shopping, reading and knitting scarves. If you had one of Marion's scarves, you were her friend. Marion was an avid Red Sox fan and never missed watching a game. She always had a smile on her face. and a positive attitude about life. After her husband's illness she found another friend, her cat Annie who she cherished dearly.A visiting hour will be held Friday from 10:00 to 11:00am at St.Peter's Church followed by her funeral service at 11:00amBurial will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery in RutlandArrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in RutlandPer Marion's wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rutland County Humane Society or Mount Saint Joseph Academy Development Fund.Visit
