Marilyn Madison NicholsonMARION: Marilyn Madison Nicholson, age 88, of Marion and formerly of Toledo, passed away on Monday November 21, 2016 at her home at the Kingston Residence of Marion.Marilyn was born on April 27, 1928 in Cleveland, the daughter of Laurence and Irene (Call) Madison. She was a graduate from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor degree in Education. She taught in the Toledo Public School District for many years.On September 2, 1950, Marilyn was united in marriage to Robert Nicholson in Bowling Green, Ohio. They shared 63 years of marriage until he preceded her in death on January 22, 2014.Marilyn is survived by her daughter Barbara (Rick) Creps, daughter-in-law Denise (Mazur) Nicholson; grandchildren: David (Amy) Nicholson, Lisa (Jim) Galas, Brian (Jennifer) Szkatulski, Matthew (Amanda) Creps, Ryan (Meredith) Creps, Elizabeth (Tyler) Hinkle and Sarah (Jeff) Gorenflo; 14 great grandchildren, with 2 on the way; and a sister Irene Arnold.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Nicholson; son Robert S. Nicholson; siblings: Barbara Madison and Joanna Williams.Memorial services will be held on Thursday December 1, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 135 W Main St., Waldo, OH at 11AM with Rev.
