Marietta "Nan" DerhammerMarietta "Nan" Derhammer, 83, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She was born on November 16, 1933 in Clarks Hill to the late Frank and Louise (Bowen) Blacker. Marietta graduated from Clarks Hill High School in 1951. Marietta was a homemaker and retired from CityBus. She enjoyed baking, crafting, cake decorating, and spending time with her grandchildren.Surviving are her children, Norma (Marvin) Douglas of Lafayette, Diana (Bill Wiseley) Jilg of Lafayette, Thomas (Rhonda) Derhammer of Lafayette, and Stephen (Monica Larson) Derhammer of Lafayette and siblings, Robert (Patty) Blacker of Colfax, Wayne (Patty) Blacker of Clarks Hill, and Larry (Kathy) Blacker of Romney. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her son, Monty Derhammer.Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with services following at 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with interment in Plainview Cemetery in Colfax.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Community Cancer Network in loving memory of Marietta.You may light a Candle of Hope in remembrance of Marietta and sign her online guestbook by visiting www.fisherfuneralchapel.com
