Marianne Hudson64, of New York, passed away on September 17, 2017 after a lengthy fight with ALS. Marianne was born on December 25, 1952 to Martha O'Connor and E. Lloyd Jacobs. She grew up in Indianapolis; graduated from Ladywood High School; and later gained her nursing degree from Florida Atlantic University, a BA in Business Administration from Palm Beach State, and a Masters in Oriental Medicine from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. Throughout her career, she was a registered nurse, hospital administrator, business owner, consultant, and acupuncturist and practitioner of Eastern medicine. In addition to Indianapolis, she lived in Florida, Washington, and New York.Marianne was an exceptional human being--kind, loving, loyal, and courageous. She was adored by all who knew her--especially by her son Zach Hudson; son-in-law Tom Cunningham; brothers Chris, Steve, Larry, and Dan Jacobs and their spouses; and all of her nieces and nephews. She will be more than missed by her family and friends.Visitation will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and Celebration of Life from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m at Sahm Park (Shelter #3), 6801 E 91st Street--followed by a Festive Wake at Claddagh Irish Pub, 3835 E 96th Street.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MAC Angels (
