Hintz-Klinger, MarianMarian Hintz-Klinger, 90, formerly of Rosholt, died early Thursday morning, Dec. 8, 2016, at Whispering Pines in Plover.She was born on June 12, 1926, in Stevens Point, to the late John and Veronica (Osowski) Studinski. Her first husband, Harry Hintz, and her second husband, Steve Klinger, both preceded her in death.Marian worked as a cashier at UW-Stevens Point for over twenty years before retiring. She was full of spunk and loved to have fun! Her favorite saying was, "There is no such thing as a free lunch." She also enjoyed polka dancing, international travel, and was very active at St. Adalbert's and St. Mary's parishes - cooking for funerals and church picnics, as well as being a rosary society member. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandsons.Survivors include her son, Ken (Chris) Hintz of Stevens Point; granddaughter, Tina (Wade) Wilquet of Stevens Point; great-grandsons, Blake and Brody; brothers, Ralph (Lorraine) Studinski of Stevens Point, David Studinski of Marshfield, Jim (Carol) Studzinski of Wisconsin Rapids, and Steve (Gail) of Marathon; sister, Dorothy (Tony) Treder of Stevens Point; and special friend/beautician, Jean Esker of Rosholt.In addition to her parents and husbands, Marian was preceded in death by her brothers, Ed, John, Lawrence, Ervin, Ernie and Daniel Studinski.The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Torun. The Rev. Jeffrey Hennes will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
