Maria was born on October 26, 1924 in Klippenfeld, Molotschna, Ukraine. She was predeceased by her husband Gerhard on April 12, 1977 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A Funeral Service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, (1515 100 Street SE, Calgary, AB), on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in Maria's memory directly to HART (106 90 Freeport Boulevard NE, Calgary, AB T3J 5J9).
