Margaret Marie HillSalisbury-After a long and courageous battle with her illness, Margaret Marie Hill, 65, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Margaret was surrounded by her loving and supportive family.She was born on June 25, 1951, in Henderson, North Carolina, a daughter of Florestine Ross Felts of Henderson, NC and the late Hunt Norman Allen.Margaret spent many years working in the home healthcare field. She attended the Parkway Church of God. She had a heart for the homeless, and enjoyed working in the cafe at HALO for six years. Her family held a special place in her heart, and she will be dearly missed.She is survived by her husband, Keith Allen Hill of Salisbury; children, Christine Marie Cropper (Stephen), Michael Joseph Walsh, Jr., Brittany Lee Hill, and Sabrina Lynn Hill, all of Salisbury; grandchildren, Chad Michaels, Paige Cropper, Tiffany Walsh, and Joseph Walsh; great grandchild, Skyler Michaels; brother, Roger Allen; and a sister, Cathy Creech, both of Henderson, NC; her former husband, Michael Walsh, Sr.; her beloved bird, Ashford; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Hunt Allen, Jr. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Parkway Church of God, Route 50 & 600 Edison Street in Salisbury. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Greg Morris will officiate.
