Marcos  “Tony" Antonio Cabrera was born on May 2nd, 1969 in Cuba. He passed away October 20th, 2019  with his family by his side. Tony had a sudden cardiac arrest on August 17th, 2019. This caused an anoxic brain injury, leaving him unresponsive with a poor prognosis. Tony spent a month in intensive care at Cleveland Clinic. He was later transferred to a short term acute care facility before being brought to the University of Miami Vitas Hospice Clinic. 

Tony came to the United States with his mother Felicia Cabrera at the age of 1. He grew up in Miami and graduated from Miami Coral Park High School. He gave over 25 years of service to Beckman Coulter, where his coworkers considered him family. He was a loving son, husband, and father, and a great friend to anyone who needed him. He impacted people’s lives with his pure heart and kindness. Tony was generous, compassionate, and touched the hearts of everyone he met. Those close to Tony will always remember his beautiful spirit.

Tony is survived by his wife Lilly, and children Alexa, Christopher, and Gabriella. A memorial mass will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church on October 29th, 2019 at 6:30 PM. 5601 S Flamingo Rd, Southwest Ranches, FL 33330.
