Marcia (Herrera) Martinez-Lovato, 88, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 in Las Vegas.She was born on Nov. 26, 1926 to the late Eliseo Herrera and Adelia Sanchez.She enjoyed playing the guitar, harmonica, keyboard and dancing. She was a strong, loving wife and mother of 11 children. She had a passion for making tamales and reading her bible. A friend to many, she was always willing to help others.She attended New Mexico Highlands University, Luna Community College and worked at the senior center.She was preceded in death by her parents, Eliseo Herrera and Adelia Herrera; husband, Liborio Martinez Sr.; life-long partner of 52 years, Andy Lovato; son, Danny (Dalton) Lovato; daughter, Joan (Shorty) Lovato; brother, Willie Herrera; sister, Antonia Herrera; sisters-in-law, Bridget Medina and Genevive Roberts. She is survived by 9 of her children, Richard Martinez and Sherri, Georgia Garcia and Gilbert, Liborio Martinez Jr., Linda Romero and Roy, Bobby Lovato and Beatrice, Jacky Lovato, Lavern Lovato and Claudia, Esther Lovato (primary caregiver), Diane Lovato; sister, Anita Leger; sisters-in-law, Lilly Hoffman-Valencia, Mary Herrera, Lena Apodaca; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday also at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt.
