Marcia Jean DahlinNovember 24, 1936 - May 7, 2016Marcia Jean Dahlin, 79 of Caldwell, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at home of natural causes. Marcia was born on November 24, 1936 in Hurley, Wisconsin to Meno and Irene Bertoluzza. She was raised in Hurley and graduated from Hurley High School in 1954 and would go on to graduate from Michigan State University in 1958. Marcia married David Dahlin in June 1958 and they were blessed with three children: Jeffery, Scott, and Sheryl. She worked for the State of California for over 30 years until retiring in January 2000. They moved to Caldwell, ID in 2003 and enjoyed traveling in their motor home. Marcia battled cancer for the last year. She is survived by her husband, David, and two sons: Jeff (Nicola) Dahlin and Scott (Jannette) Dahlin, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sheryl, and sister, Violet Raykovich. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3111 Tierra De Dios Dr, EL Dorado Hills, CA 95762, on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be from 10:00-11:00AM at the Church.
