Mae BishopWest Jordan1936-2017 Mae Bishop 80, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2017.Mae was born on November 1, 1936 to Dellus E. & Myrtle M Nielsen. Mae grew up in Gooding, ID where she met the love of her life, Joe Bishop. They were married June 13, 1954 in Ely, NV & later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.Her passion in life was genealogy. She shared her knowledge with many people. She spent many years as a bookkeeper and drove semis for 18 years with Joe. She fought a valiant fight with cancer for over 34 years. During this struggle she taught her family how to be strong. She never complained about the pain, hair loss or how bad she might be feeling. Thank you mom for teaching us how to be strong. She is survived by her two children, Elizabeth (Robert) Hunsaker and Kevin E. Bishop, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.She was proceed in death by her husband, Joe C. Bishop, son Joe Dewayne Bishop, daughter Kathleen Mae Bishop, grandson Jarad Bishop. Family Grave side services will held on July 14, 2017 at 11:00am, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary 6500 S Redwood Rd.
