Active and energetic, she was ready for a game of family tennis, ping pong, a mountain hike, a walk on the beach, or a swim in Steel Lake at her home. After Ed passed in 1995, she was blessed to meet Glenn Rickert on a cruise halfway around the world, only to find he grew up with Ed and was a retired coach and teacher from Burlington, Washington. They married in 2006 and shared 11 wonderful years together. Margaret will be remembered for her devotion to family where she organized trips, reunions and other gatherings.
