Zoelk, Lyle Clarence RoyLyle Clarence Roy Zoelk, 84, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Peabody Manor. Lyle was born on August 9, 1932 to Louis and Pearl (Helser) Zoelk. On February 20, 1954 he was united in marriage to Beverly Boese, the love of his life. Lyle was a very hard worker and worked for the Wisconsin Corp until his first retirement and then went to work in the maintenance department for the Heritage until he retired a second time in 2001. He made several friends while at the Heritage and boasted that his best employee was his granddaughter. One of his greatest qualities that he taught his family was the value of hard work and always giving 100%. Lyle was very mechanically inclined and there wasn't much he couldn't fix. He owned every tool imaginable and was always there to help you fix something when it fell apart. Most of all, his family was the most important thing in his life along with his wife Beverly there wasn't a ball game or soccer game that he missed for the grandchildren or great grandchildren. Lyle is survived by his children; Kathryn Keller of Appleton, Susan (Bruce) Anderson of Appleton, and Steven (and his little friend Cindy) Zoelk of Clintonville, his granddaughters: Chanda (Wayne) Millard, Marissa (special friend Luke Harris) Keller, Devon Anderson, and Sara Anderson; his "princess's" great granddaughters Keeli Millard and McKenzie Millard, his fur baby Peyton, brother-in-law Keith Boese, sisters-in-law; Jackie (Dennis) Kotloski, Nancy Boese, and Lorraine Zoelk, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly, a daughter Sheri, a son-in-law, Michael Keller, his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The memorial service for Lyle will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 2:30 PM at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, TRI COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida St., due to construction please access the funeral home from 441. The family would like to thank Kevin for being a friend to Lyle, he really enjoyed your company, and to the staff at Peabody Manor for all the wonderful care Lyle received.Dad, I will never forget all the time we spent together, even though it ended for now, it will only be temporary. Your sense of humor, wisdom, and work ethic are traits that you passed down to me and for that I am very appreciative. I will miss you dearly and you will remain tin my heart forever. I'm proud to be your daughter and call you Dad. Love, KathyGrandpa, there is so much that I will miss about you. Your laugh, your determination, your strength, and your knowledge are just a few of the amazing traits that you shared with me. I struggle to find the words to express how much you mean to me. Love MarissaLyle, I have always looked up to you as a strong role model. Your love for your family, intelligence, and great sense of humor will never be forgotten. I will miss our talks about the mechanical ways of the world. Love, WayneWhen I think about my Grandpa the words that come to mind are: hard worker, caring, humorous, faithful, respectful, craftsman, and family man. I am going to miss my grandfather's jokes, his wisdom and love. I want to thank you for being such a wonderful person to me, your family and friends. We will all miss you and love you always. Love, Chanda
