Our beautiful, sweet mother passed away Oct. 8, 2007, at home surrounded by her loving family. Ida Ludene Andrews was born on Oct. 22, 1932, to Lawrence Christensen and Ida Mae Rinderknecht Andrews in Logan, Utah. She was the third of five children. Mom enjoyed a loving and happy home with her parents, three brothers, Lawrence, Dale, and Richard, and sister, Ruth Mae. She was blessed with wonderful experiences growing up in Cache Valley with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She married Rulon Dean Bickmore on Jan. 8, 1953, in the Logan LDS Temple. Together Mom and Dad created a beautiful life for their four children, Dean, Janice (Byron) Warner, Craig (Lori), all of Salt Lake City, and Janae (Marty) Smith of Logan, Utah, and their 17 grandchildren. Mom was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving faithfully in ward and stake primary callings and as a Relief Society president. There was never a more angelic person than our sweet mother. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her life and we love her deeply. Her legacy of service, joy, and love will be with us always. Mom is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years; her four children; 17 grandchildren; brother, Richard (Suzanne) Andrews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol Andrews, Wilma Andrews, Jane Davis, Jack Buttars, John (Diane) Bickmore, and Jerry Bickmore. Funeral services will be at noon Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at the Valley View Stake Center, 2245 E. 3900 South in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a viewing from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services.
