DUBLIN – Lucia A. Sirois, 94, of Goldmine Road, died Tuesday November 29, 2016 at her residence surrounded by the warmth of her family after a long illness. She was born on June 8, 1922 in Dublin, daughter of the late Otto and Marie (Quist) Koskela. She attended schools in Dublin and was a lifelong resident of the town.Mrs. Sirois had worked as a nurse's aid for many years and retired from the Villager Nursing Home. She loved animals and time spent with family and friends. She also enjoyed sharing her large summer gardens with her family and friends.She was a loving and devoted wife and mother right to the very end. Mrs. Sirois was predeceased by her husband, John A. Sirois, on October 18, 2005 and by her daughter, Lucia Delia Sirois, in 1986.She is survived by her daughter, Shirley M. Mahoney, of Jaffrey; five sons, Francis J. Sirois of Lancaster New Hampshire, Robert N. Sirois of Sharon, Vermont, Otto C. Sirois of Hartland, Vermont, Timothy J. Sirois of Dublin, and Sean W. Sirois of Spring Hill, Florida; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildrenAs per her request, there will be no calling hours.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 87 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the spring at Saint Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at HCS, Post Office Box 496, Peterborough NH 03458.
