Louise Park MillsProvidence - Louise Park Mills, 63, died peacefully on March 8, 2015 surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 16, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Alma and Melva Park. She grew up in Bountiful and moved to Logan, Utah after high school graduation to attend Utah State University. There she met her husband, Theron Earl Mills the two were married on September 11, 1970 in the Logan LDS Temple. They went on to have four children, Michelle, Amy, Natalie and Kevin. Louise spent all of her career working at Utah State University. She worked in many departments at USU, with her last working as the Assistant to the Provost in the Provost Office. She retired from USU in June 2009 after 33 years. Louise was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. Her most beloved calling was as a missionary with her husband in the Czech Slovak Mission from July 2012-September 2013. She touched the lives of so many around her through her strong, unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ. That He lives.She and Earl loved to travel and spent many vacations with family and friends. She enjoyed playing golf, playing the piano, crocheting, writing poems, and was an amazing cook! Most of all she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.Louise is survived by her husband, Theron Earl, her children, Michelle (Evan) Nyman, Amy (Jeff) Kitchen, Natalie (Jaren) Argyle, and Kevin (Shannon) Mills; 9 grand children; her mother, Melva Park and her 3 sisters, Shirlene (Deon) Stevens, Karen (Ron) Hill, and Joyce (Alex) Lefranc. She is preceded in death by her father, Alma Park, her father and mother-in-law, Theron and Nola Mills, and two grandsons, Mason Mills Argyle and Andrew Jaren Argyle.There will be a viewing held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary of Logan, 34 E. Center Street. The funeral services will be at 11:00am Thursday, March 12 at the Providence 5th Ward LDS Chapel, 355 Canyon Road, Providence. A viewing will be held that morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at the Providence City Cemetery.
