Louise Marcella Lucero, 71, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Albuquerque. Louise was born on Sept. 7, 1944 in Las Vegas, a daughter of Henry and Cordelia (Trujillo) Geoffrion.Louise attended high school at Immaculate Conception in Las Vegas. Louise worked as a health coordinator at West Las Vegas Head Start Program for 20 years. Louise was a devout Catholic, and a lifelong member of the Third Order Society of Saint Francis.She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Manuel Jose, Henry Jr., and Gregory Geoffrion.Louise is survived by two daughters, Denise Jackson, husband James, and sons Adam, and Elijah of Albuquerque, Therese Melton, husband Mike, and sons Noah, and Isaiah of Las Vegas; two sons, Leroy Lucero, wife Angela, and daughter Sophia of Portland, Ore., Christopher Lucero, and husband Gabriel of Dallas, Texas; husband of 31 years, LeRoy G. Lucero of Las Vegas; six sisters, Eileen, Diane, Agripina, Julia, and Joanne.A rosary service will be held at noon on Thursday at Immaculate Conception Parish, 811 6th St. in Las Vegas, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p,m. on Thursday.
