Lossie Marie Weaver AllenJackson - Lossie Marie Weaver Allen, age 96 of Jackson, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 13, 2017.She was born on January 16, 1921 in Hardeman County, TN to the late William Ross and Minnie Pleasant Mainers Weaver. She moved to Bemis as a young child and attended J.B. Young High School where she graduated in 1941. She worked for the Bemis Company and the Tennessee Textile for over 40 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Bemis United Methodist Church for over 60 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Arthur Weaver, Mac Weaver, and Elmer Weaver; one sister, Marie Gratham; two husbands, J.C. Combs and Otha G. Allen; and son, Ronald C. Allen. She is survived by her grandson, David Allen (Vicki) of Jackson; granddaughter, Rebecca Allen; grandson, Jeff Allen; great grandchildren, Alyssa Gibson (Gaines), Ansley Allen, and Jeffrey Allen; and one great great granddaughter, Tinsley Allen.Funeral services for Lossie will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2017 from 12 -2:30 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with funeral services following at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Sharon Karamoko and Rev. Walter German officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Malesus.Active pallbearers to serve will be Johnny Gratham, Larry Gratham, Joe Wyatt, Jackie Weaver, Bobby Weaver, and Cecil Burlenson. George A.
