Lois M. Fritchen FRANKSVILLE-Lois M. (nee: Olsen) Fritchen, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 29, 2012. A lifetime resident of Racine County, Lois was born on March 10, 1925, to Julius and Caroline (nee: Larsen) Olsen. On May 10th, 1947 in Franksville, she married "the love of her life" Frederick J. Fritchen Jr. Lois was a lifelong member of Franksville United Methodist Church and very active in several church and Civic Organizations. She was also considered the unofficial "Mayoress" and Historian of Franksville. Lois is survived by her children; Margie (Don) Paulsen, Cher (Jean) Miller, Joan (Dan) Jablonski and Don (Patricia) Fritchen, grandchildren; Steve Paulsen, Catherine Kimport, Fred (Lisa) Fritchen IV, Ryan Fritchen,Megan Jablonski, Crystal (Heath) Hallada and Andrew (Courtney) Fritchen. She is also survived by great grandchildren; Taylor, Avery, Paityn and Nolan. Lois is further survived by sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many, many dear friends. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Frederick J. Fritchen Jr, one son Frederick J. Fritchen III, six older brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 from 12 noon until 2:45 p.m. with a Celebration of Lois's life following at 3 p.m. at Franksville United Methodist Church, 10402 Northwestern Ave. with Rev. Marty Williams officiating. Lois will be laid to rest next to her husband in a private ceremony at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Lois in a special way may direct memorials to Franksville United Methodist Church.
