Flick , Lois E.Lois E. Flick, 82, formerly of Milladore, died on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 surrounded by her family at Marshfield Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Center City Church, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am on Friday until service time. Rev. Paul Shirek will officiate. Private burial will take place in Union Cemetery, Milladore. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Lois was born on January 23, 1935 in Wisconsin Rapids, to Frank and Ingred (Anderson) Roach. She attended schools in Wisconsin Rapids and was a 1953 graduate of Auburndale High School. Lois was united in marriage to Joseph J. Flick on October 21, 1955 at First Methodist Church in Junction City. He died on December 16, 2009. Lois worked at Riverview Hospital and Riverview Manor in Wisconsin Rapids as a nurses aid. From 1979 to 1997 she worked at the Milladore Post Office as a substitute and regular rural mail carrier on the Milladore route. She had been a 4-H leader for the Mill Creek Busy Bees 4-H group and a member of the Wood County Homemakers Club for many years. She was very active in her church and was a Green Bay Packer fan, especially following Reggie White and Brett Favre. She is survived by her children, Michael (Maria) Flick of Wisconsin Rapids, Rose (Richard) Lang of Milladore, Merry Mackenzie of Saint Cloud, MN, and Marvin (Sharon) Flick of Stevens Point, Mark "Buzz" (Wendy) Flick of Milladore. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Jeremy (Santa) Lang, Brandon Lang (Seta Rusinak) Andrea (Colin) Wilcott, Crystal Flick (Justin Bergquist), June Flick, J.J. Flick, Dylan Flick, Megan Flick, Sean (Elizabeth) Muehring, Calvin Flick, Samantha Flick, Christopher Bargender, Jessica Bargender and Joshua Pascavis and great grandchildren, Sofija Lang, Anna Lang, Madeline Wilcott, Emily Wilcott, Karter Pascavis, Koleson Pascavis and Kason Bargender and a great granddaughter due in October. She is further survived by a brother Theodore (Doris) Roach of Berryville, VA and sisters, Betty (Hubert) Johnson and Jean Fennell, all of Wisconsin Rapids. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, brothers David and Paul Roach and her beloved dog, Harley. In lieu of flowers, the family will designate a memorial at a later date.
