Linda R. JoinerClarksville, TNLinda R. Joiner, age 68, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on January 11, 2017, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, after a sudden illness.She was born on January 16, 1948, in Detroit, MI, daughter of James and Anna Richardson, before moving back to Clarksville, where her parents originated from.Linda was a Retired Accounts Payable Clerk of Nystar Clarksville, Inc. She retired in 2013, after being employed with Nystar for 33 years.She was preceded in death by her father, James Richardson. She is survived by her loving husband, David Joiner; mother, Anna Richardson; sisters, Peggy Hardeman and Nancy Hall; brothers, Jimmy Richardson and Wayne (Sheryl) Richardson; and nephew, Brent (Jordan) Richardson.Linda attended First Baptist Church of Clarksville. She loved children, seeing her nieces and nephews, traveling, camping, going to the beach, and her cat, Buttons.Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with a burial to follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton, KY.Pallbearers will be Brent Richardson, Andy Joiner, Cody Joiner, Cale Joiner, Steve Joiner, and Mike Joiner.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, 220 Children's Way, Nashville, TN 37232.Arrangements entrusted to Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, 1510 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
