LINDA MARIE COONS PORTAGE, IN Linda Marie Coons, age 45, of Portage, passed away October 21, 2016. Linda was born on August 6, 1971 to Joseph and Linda (nee Cupka) Coons Sr. in Gary, IN. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Linda is survived by her daughter, Heather Novreske; two grandsons, Michael and Gabriel Negroni; mother, Linda Coons; father, Joseph Coons Sr.; brother, Joseph Earl (Jeannie) Coons Jr.; niece, Taylor Coons and many other loving family members and friends. A memorial service for Linda, with Pastor Bob Burton officiating, will take place Monday, October 31, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, IN 46368.
