Linda L. GoeggleNaples, FLLinda L. Goeggle, 72, of Naples, FL, formerly of Monticello, IL, died Monday Dec. 7th at Avow Hospice Center in Naples, FL. She was born on Sept. 11, 1943 in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of late Opal Slade and Caleb Dalton. She was 1 of 10 siblings. On Dec. 18, 1962, she married the late George N. Goeggle in Monticello, IL.She was recently engaged to Joseph L. Braden of Naples, FL, he survives. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Jodie Goeggle of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Cameron and Delaney Goeggle of Naples, FL; brothers, Jack Dalton of Champaign, IL, Darrell Dalton of Champaign, IL, Gary Dalton of Leroy, IL, Don Dalton of Mahomet, IL, Daniel Slade of Champaign, IL, and James Slade of Urbana, IL. One sister survives, Deborah Clark of Leroy, IL.She was preceded in death by her husband, George Goeggle; parents, Opal Slade and Caleb Dalton; sister, Gloria Swanson; and brother, Richard "Dick" Dalton.Linda owned and operated Linda's Salon for many years in Monticello, IL and was active in the community. She moved to Naples, FL following the death of her husband, George Goeggle in 2002 to be closer to her immediate family.
