Linda Louisa BaumannMANSFIELD: Linda Louisa Baumann, 50, passed away at the home of her brother, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.She was born on April 6, 1967 in Mansfield, Ohio to Jakob and Juliana (Welker) Baumann. Linda grew up in Mansfield, Ohio. She attended Richland Newhope School, and graduated in 1989. Following graduation, Linda worked several years at Richland Newhope Industries, Inc., retiring due to health constraints. Over the years she forged many friendships with visiting companions. More recently, she also enjoyed activities and spending time with others at Day-Hab.Linda was a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She was truly beautiful inside and out, with an outgoing, winsome personality, and loved by everyone. She was a hard worker, always busy, and enjoyed many and varied pastimes. Her favorites include math, word search and jigsaw puzzles, reading, and trivia. She attended Apostolic Christian Church.Linda Baumann is survived by her mother, Juliana (Welker) Baumann; brother, Dr. Ronald Baumann and his wife Marie (Betz) of Bellville; and sister, Dr. Marlene Baumann of Mansfield, OH/Lewisburg, PA. She has two nieces, Emily and Hannah Baumann, of Bellville, OH.Also surviving are numerous aunts and cousins in the U.S. and Germany and an uncle.She was preceded in death by her father, Jakob Baumann, who passed away on March 14, 2017.The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.
