Lillian Arnold Schmill passed away late in the evening on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Lafitte, LA surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of the late Thomas O. Schmill, Sr. Loving mother of Linda S. Plaisance (husband, Harold) of Lafitte, LA; Lovina S. Orgeron (husband, John) of Edmond, OK and the late Thomas O. Schmill, Jr., Larry B. Schmill and Diana S. Loupe. Beloved grandmother of Carl, Stacey, Karey, Larry, Derrick, Phillip, Nicole, Scott, Cade and Jeffrey; also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Mrs. Schmill, age 89 years, was born on December 18, 1927 in Hamilton, IL and was a longtime resident of Boutte, LA. The time that she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family and friends is what brought the most pleasure to Lillian. She will be sadly missed and will be forever in our hearts. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Mausoleum located in St. Charles Cemetery, 1279 Paul Maillard Rd., Luling, LA.
